Salaries and Conditions
The IEU has negotiated collective agreements for the majority of schools and other workplaces. The provisions contained within these Agreements are well in excess of those contained within the Modern Award.
Nationally the IEU bargains over 800 separate collective agreements delivering sector leading wages, superannuation and leave entitlements for our members working in schools, early childhood education and post-secondary training institutions.
The Union Difference – IEU Members Win
Our union has been at the forefront of winning historic improvements for education workers and was one of the first industries to deliver paid domestic and family violence leave, protections for secure jobs, natural disaster leave, paid parental leave, the right to disconnect and additional superannuation contributions from employers.
